David Moenning, Director Institutional Consulting
David Moenning is CA360’s Director of Institutional Consulting Services. Mr. Moenning has developed and managed customized portfolio solutions for financial professionals since 1989. His focus is on a risk-managed, multi-methodology, multi-strategy, multi-time frame approach to portfolio design.
Mr. Moenning began his investment career in 1980 and founded Heritage Capital Management in 1989. From 2015 through 2017 Mr. Moenning served as Chief Investment Officer for an RIA firm responsible for $1.3 billion under advisement. Mr. Moenning is Past President and Chairman of the National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM), an organization dedicated to active management strategies. Speaking of NAAIM, Dave is a past winner of the organization’s “Shark Tank Competition.”
Dave is also a sought-after author on the markets. His “State of the Markets” blog, which began in the late 1990’s, blossomed into an award-winning market report focusing on the key drivers to both short- and long-term market movements. Mr. Moenning resides in Golden, Colorado with his wife of 40 years and has three adult children.
