I got into the advisory business because I wanted to help families navigate market cycles… I wanted to start them off with a solid financial plan and help keep them on track, getting them to and through retirement.
I was prepared for the downside of investing, as my first memory of the stock market was coming home from high school and seeing the news of “Black Monday.” For days after I watched and read about the market, learning about how wealth could be both created and destroyed.
Fast forward to the year 2000, armed with an accounting degree, a love of the markets while dissecting financial statements, I entered the investment business just long enough to experience the dot.com crash, and then the 2008 financial crisis.
All these “free” lessons prepared me for real-life money management. I never wanted to swing for the fences for clients… just work towards providing solid and conservative year-after-year returns. Knowing risk-adjusted returns and savings, while minimizing debt outpaces “chasing the hot stock.”
Taking that philosophy, and pairing it with tax and legal advisors sets clients on the right track, whatever markets may bring their way. My ideal client is a business owner or family nearing retirement that needs solid ideas and strategies to plot their route to retirement security. I look forward to working with you and assisting you on your journey towards reaching your personal investing goals and objectives.
